If there is a better line of pigeons in
the world today than "SUPER 73" we are not aware of it. OHF bought this cock for $20,000 in 1987.
They
advertised him as the greatest proven breeder and racer ever to come to the U.S.A. At that time he had won 1st
Overall Ace Pigeon of Holland and since he was on the race team he did not sire many birds each year.
Despite this limitation, at the end of '87 he had sired 12 1st place winners with ten different hens. Since 1987
the racing results of the progeny of "Super 73" have been staggering. In
'89 a
G. granddaughter is 1st against 17,531 birds. A grandchild was 8th Ace Pigeon Holland. A son was 2nd
Overall Ace Pigeon Holland. Roelof Coster in Holland, breeding from grandchildren of
"Super 73", won in
1990 1st National Ace Pigeon Y.B. of Holland N.P.O. and in 1993 won 1st and 2nd Ace Pigeon
Y.B. Holland (Vredesduif) from different pairs. Birds of Coster, from the line of
"Super
73", have now won over 100 firsts! Including several against large birdage. In the
U.S.A. the results of "Super 73" have been equally impressive. "Bold Ruler" and
"Future Force", both bought back for $10,000 each. Mr. W.T. Calif won
approx. $85,000 in two years with grandchildren of "Super 73". 1st Land Channel Futurity,
Jack Yohe, Ohio. California Hall of Fame winner Brad La Verne is 4th generation.
Sensational results in Tampa for Robert Gonzalez. Super son of "Super 73" for Dr. Chris Rogers with many top results including E. 1st Holiday Cup winning
$13,325.00 in 1993. In 1994, Dr. Rogers entered four of this line in the Asian Band
Race, all four finished in the overall money. In 1995 the 2nd and 5th Asian Band
race overall winners are grandchildren of "Super 73". Bob Kochs' 1992 Combine
Bird of the Year is from a G. grandchild of "Super 73". 1993 San Diego Concourse
Champion Bird for Joe Moore is a grandchild of "Super 2778". The 1995 San Diego Triple Crown winner is from a
daughter of "2778". The best yearling in Ireland in '95 is from a daughter of
"2778". 1993 4th place Snow Bird for
Bill Traw is another grandchild of "Super 73". 1993 Champion Bird San Gabrial Valley Combine for 1st
year flyer Broken Horn loft is a grandchild of "2778". The results and money won in
Taiwan from "Super 73" line in 1994 is mind boggling. The examples listed are all major accomplishments. OHF would not attempt to count
1st place or Diploma winners in smaller competitions, needless to say the numbers would be
astronomical. OHF believed "Super 73" was the greatest proven racer and breeder ever to come to the U.S.A.

“Super 73”, “Super 2778” and “Avenger”
Bred countless champions
through many generations around the World!
